Anti-viral treatment

Random control studies have found that patients with chronic fatigue syndrome have a 40 percent success rate when they undergo cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Cognitive behavioural therapy is where patients undergo psychological therapy to change the persons belief and thinking regarding their pain, suffering and their symptoms. CBT have been shown to lower the patients level of symptoms and for a quick recovery.

Cognitive behavioural therapy is one of the two most effective ways to treat chronic fatigue syndrome.

Exercise

Graded exercise is one of the most effective ways of treating chronic fatigue syndrome. Exercise helps the most as it allows people suffering from CFS have higher confidence levels, higher metabolic levels, general strength and decreased pain.

People who have CFS are generally weak and fatigued initially. Hence, a graded exercise is important in treating CFS. That is, the exercises that is being used in CFS must start easy with low resistance and low repetition exercises which is then slowly progressed for higher resistance and repetition. A train physical therapist will give you the best program to help treat chronic fatigue syndrome.
